Dr. Groot is the founder of the Groot DermaSurgery Centre where he and his colleagues work with a team of dedicated, experienced individuals who assist him in meeting their patients' needs.
The atmosphere at the Centre is one of caring concern and professional competence. The staff is attuned to the needs and concerns of the patient from the first phone call through to the final visit. Patient coordinators are available to answer inquiries, schedule appointments and organize patient visits. The nursing staff , some with advanced degrees and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification, are highly skilled assistants to Dr. Don Groot and Dr. Thomas Nakatsui.
The Centre is dedicated to being at the forefront of new developments in medical care and dermatologic surgery of the skin. The laser equipment at the Centre is state of the art including lasers for facial rejuvenation, scar revision, removal of pigment, removal of vascular (blood vessel) abnormalities and hair removal. The most current liposuction techniques are used for fat removal. Botox injections, and dermal fillers are used in combination with medicated creams, microdermabrasions and laser resurfacing to maintain and improve one’s natural beauty. Dr. Don Groot is also known for his expertise in scar revision.
